Locum Dentist – Dorchester, Dorset

£450 per day for 30 UDAs – 50% Private split – Stable and well-maintained patient list  – 6-12 Mat cover

MBR Dental are currently assisting a dental practice located in Dorchester, Dorset to recruit a Locum Dentist to join their team on a fixed term basis.

Position Details:

  • Available as soon as possible.
  • Ongoing locum required to cover maternity leave for a period of 6-12 months.
  • Part-time opportunity, 2 days per week.
  • Surgery space Monday and Wednesday 8.45-5.15pm.
  • Self-employed Locum role.

Remuneration & Benefits:

  • £450 per day based on UDA delivery.
  • 50% split on Private and lab bills.
  • Monthly pay.
  • Dentist will be working with a stable NHS list with good scope to upsell Private.

Practice Details:

  • 3 surgery dental practice.
  • 4 Dentists currently in situ.
  • Hygiene and Therapist support available.
  • Computerised with R4 software.
  • Digital X-rays and Rotary Endo in surgeries.
  • Practice offers General Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry and Orthodontics.

Location & Travel:

  • High street location with heavy footfall.
  • Practice is within a 5-minute walk of train station.
  • Direct trains from Dorchester West, Dorchester South, Weymouth, Yeovil, and Frome.
  • Free parking is available nearby the practice.
  • Under 1 hours drive from Weymouth, Poundbury, Bridport, Sherborne, Yeovil, Wareham, Poole, and Lyme Regis.
  • 1 hour from Bournemouth Airport.

Requirements:

  • GDC registered Dentist.
  • Active performer number.
  • Enhanced DBS check.
