Locum Dentist / Sherborne, Dorset / Full or Part Time

MBR Dental are currently assisting a dental practice located in Sherborne, Dorset to recruit a Locum Dentist to join their team on a temporary basis.

Position Details:

  • Available as soon as possible.
  • Ongoing till further notice.
  • Position available as perm for the right candidate.
  • Full or part-time opportunity, up to 5 days per week.
  • Practice is open Monday to Friday 9-5 pm.
  • Temporary Locum role with a 2–4-week notice period.

Remuneration & Benefits:

  • Day rate of £450-£500 per day.
  • 50% split on Private work in addition to day rate.
  • Stable NHS list with some opportunity to upsell Private.
  • Dentist will be paid at monthly intervals.

Practice Details:

  • Purpose-built practice, situated in an affluent area.
  • Computerised with Digital X-rays and intra oral cameras.
  • Modern working environment with state-of-the-art equipment.
  • Practice has been established 12+ years and has excellent reputation in the local area.

Location & Travel:

  • 30–40-minute commute from Yeovil, Wincanton, Bruton, Sturminster Newton, Dorchester and Crewkerne.
  • 10–15-minute walk from train station
  • Direct trains from Yeovil Junction, Templecombe and Crewkerne.
  • Around 1 hour from Bournemouth and Bristol Airports.

Essential Requirements:

  • GDC registration.
  • Active performer number
  • Valid DBS check
