Locum Dentist – Poole, Dorset
MBR Dental are assisting a dental practice in Poole, Dorset to recruit a Locum Dentist on a temporary basis.
Vacancy Details:
- Available as soon as possible.
- Notice periods are considered.
- Part-time role with flexible days.
- Surgery space Monday and Wednesday 2:00pm–8:00pm, Tuesday and Thursday 8am-8pm, plus optional Saturday 9:00am–2:00pm
- Temporary Locum role with a 1-2 week notice period.
Remuneration & Earnings:
- £450-£500 per day depending on experience.
- 50% split on private work completed
- 50/50 split on lab bills for NHS & Private
- Dentist will be paid at monthly intervals.
Practice Overview:
- 11-surgery dental practice with 13 Dentists in situ
- Fully computerised with R4 software.
- Onsite CBCT Scanner and Intraoral Cameras.
- Digital X-Rays, and Rotary Endodontics in surgery.
- Treatments include General Dentistry, Short-Term Orthodontics, and Private Endodontics
- Clinical support from a Hygienist and Therapist
- Practice has a good reputation with a very high Google Review rating.
Location & Travel:
- Free parking.
- Easily commutable from Poole town centre, Poole Quay, Poole Hospital, Parkstone, Ashley Cross, Bournemouth, Sandbanks, and Christchurch (typically under 30 mins).
- Under 1.5-hour commute from major cities such as Dorchester, Southampton, Salisbury and Weymouth.
- Situated within a 10-minute walk from the train station.
- Direct trains from Bournemouth, Branksome, Parkstone, Brockenhurst, Southampton Central, Dorchester South, & Weymouth.
- 20–30-minute drive from Bournemouth airport.
Requirements:
- GDC registration
- Active Performer Number
- Recent DBS certificate (required on request)
