Locum Dentist – Charity / Mobile Clinics | Kent | £450 per Day | Flexible Shifts

MBR Dental are currently assisting Dentaid, a not-for-profit dental charity, to recruit Locum Dentists to support outreach services across Kent, including Maidstone, Folkestone, Dover, and Margate.

This is a highly rewarding opportunity to deliver essential dental care to vulnerable communities while benefiting from flexible locum work and strong clinical support.

 Position Details

  • Ad hoc locum shifts available
  • Ongoing contracts until further notice
  • Monday to Friday availability (flexible days)
  • Regular monthly shifts available
  • 4–6 hours per day
  • £450 day rate
  • No lab bills

About the Role

  • Working within a mobile dental unit
  • Providing emergency dental treatment and primary care services
  • Referring complex cases when required
  • Travelling to community and outreach locations

You will be supporting a wide range of patients, including:

  • Individuals experiencing homelessness
  • Refugees and asylum seekers
  • Those affected by domestic abuse
  • Patients with addiction support needs
  • Families and looked-after children
  • Other vulnerable and underserved groups

Locations

  • Kent: Maidstone, Folkestone, Dover, Margate
  • Additional outreach locations may include County Durham and South Shields

Requirements

  • GDC registered Dentist
  • Minimum 4+ years’ UK post-graduate experience
  • Enhanced DBS required
  • Comfortable working in mobile / outreach settings
  • No NHS Performer Number required
