Locum Dentist – Bournemouth, Dorset – Part-Time

MBR Dental are assisting a dental practice in Bournemouth, Dorset to recruit a Locum Dentist on a temporary basis.

Key Details:

  • Available immediately.
  • Ongoing until permanent Dentist recruited
  • Part-time opportunity, 2-3 days per week.
  • Surgery space Mondays 8-2pm, Fridays 9-6pm and Saturdays 9-4pm.
  • Temporary Locum role with 1-2 weeks notice period.

Remuneration:

  • £450 – £500 per day depending on experience.
  • 50% split on Private revenue.
  • 50/50 split on lab bills for NHS and Private
  • Mixed practice with significant demand for Private treatments
  • Dentist will be paid at monthly intervals.

Practice Overview:

  • 3-surgery dental practice, all with natural light
  • Access to Digital X-rays and Rotary Endo
  • Treatments include General Dentistry, Invisalign, Whitening, and Composite Bonding
  • Support from Hygienist, Therapist, Practice Manager, and qualified Nurses

Location and Travel:

  • Central location with paid parking nearby
  • Under 30-40 mins by car from Bournemouth, Boscombe, Charminster, Winton, Southbourne, Westbourne and Queen’s Park.
  • 10-minute walk from the train station
  • Direct trains from Branksome, Pokesdown, Parkstone, Christchurch, Poole, Hinton Admiral, New Milton and Hamworthy.

Requirements:

  • GDC registration
  • Active Performer Number
  • Enhanced DBS certificate
