Lead Dentist / Gloucester, Gloucestershire / Full Time

MBR Dental are currently assisting a dental practice located in Gloucester, Gloucestershire to recruit a Lead Dentist on a permanent basis.

Vacancy Details:

  • Available from June 2026.
  • Notice periods are considered.
  • Full or part time position.
  • Flexible days and hours.
  • Position would involve 1 day per week focussed on Urgent Care and 4 days per week supporting UDA delivery.
  • Lead Dentist will also be responsible for ongoing educational support and mentorship for Foundation Dentists.
  • Position available following a recent practice acquisition.

Remuneration & Benefits:  

  • Projected earnings of £120,000+ per annum.
  • 5000 UDAs at £16 per UDA.
  • 50% Private split.
  • £500 per full day for Urgent Care sessions plus an additional Clinical Lead supplement.
  • NHS Educational Supervisor payment for supporting Foundation Dentists.
  • Golden Hello available (terms apply).
  • Clinical freedom.
  • Support from an experienced Nurse and Admin team.

Requirements

  • Enthusiastic Dentist keen to make a positive impact on clinical pathways, patient experience and practice culture.
  • GDC Registration
  • Active Performer Number
  • 4+ years postgraduate experience.

All Dentist`s must be registered with the GDC and hold an active Performer Number. An enhanced DBS Certificate will be required on request.
