Dental Hygienist – Sudbury, Suffolk | Part-Time

MBR Dental is working with an independently owned dental practice in Sudbury, Suffolk, to recruit a Dental Hygienist for a maternity cover position, starting in April 2027.

What’s on offer

  • Salary: £30 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Hours: Part-time, with 3 days per week available.
  • Contract: Fixed-term for 6–9 months to cover maternity leave, with the potential to become permanent.
  • Start date: April 2027.
  • From 30 minute appointments.
  • A stable list of predominantly NHS patients.
  • Nursing support: Full nurse support available.
  • Pay: Monthly.

Surgery space

  • Monday: 9am – 5:30 pm
  • Tuesday: 8am – 5:30 pm
  • Friday: 8am – 12:45 pm

About the practice

You’ll be joining an independently owned, three-surgery dental practice with a welcoming team and a strong focus on patient care.

The practice is well equipped with modern technology, including:

  • Dentally computerised systems.
  • Digital X-rays.
  • Rotary endodontics.

You’ll also benefit from support from the onsite owner/dentist and a team of experienced dental nurses. Conveniently located near Sudbury train station, the practice has good local bus links and onsite staff parking.

Who are we looking for

We’re looking for a friendly, motivated Dental Hygienist who enjoys building positive relationships with patients and delivering high-quality care.

Essential requirements:

  • At least 12 months’ experience working as a Dental Hygienist in the UK.
  • Current GDC registration.
  • A valid DBS check.
