Associate Dentist – Ramsey, Isle of Man | Up to £17 per UDA | Full or Part Time
MBR Dental are currently assisting a dental practice in Ramsey, Isle of Man, to recruit an Associate Dentist to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a General Dentist seeking flexible working arrangements within an established practice, providing both NHS and private dental care. Full-time and part-time applicants are welcome, with flexible working days and a negotiable start date.
Remuneration and Benefits
- UDA rate of up to £17, depending on experience
- Typical NHS Dentist earnings of £50,000–£140,000 FTE, plus private earnings
- 50% private remuneration split, subject to agreed contractual terms and laboratory costs
- Flexible UDA allocation, subject to agreement
- Established patient base
- Full-time or part-time working options (2-5 days)
- Flexible working days, Monday to Friday 0830-1730
- Supportive clinical and administrative team
- Start date negotiable, with notice periods considered
- Monthly pay
- 3-month notice period
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct dental examinations and assess patients’ oral health.
- Diagnose dental conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide general, restorative and preventive dentistry.
- Deliver private treatments alongside NHS-contracted services.
- Advise patients on oral hygiene and preventive dental care.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with professional standards.
- Refer patients to specialist services where clinically appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with the wider dental team to provide safe, high-quality patient care.

- Fully computerised surgeries using SOE software

Essential Requirements
Applicants should demonstrate:
- A recognised dental qualification appropriate for registration and practice in the Isle of Man
- Current GDC registration, where applicable to the role and the applicant’s registration status
- Appropriate eligibility or authorisation to undertake NHS dental work in the Isle of Man
- Relevant general dental practice experience
- Commitment to safe clinical practice and applicable professional, safeguarding and background-check requirements
