Associate Dentist / Huntly, Aberdeenshire / 4 x Days Per Week

MBR Dental are currently assisting a dental practice located in Huntly, Aberdeenshire to recruit an Associate Dentist on a permanent basis.

Vacancy Details:

  • Available as soon as possible.
  • Notice periods are considered.
  • Dentist required Tuesday 8.30-5pm, Wednesday 8.30-5pm, Thursday 8.30-5pm, and Friday 8.30-5pm.
  • No on-call commitment.
  • Practice can offer Visa Sponsorship for Dentist`s with an NHS List Number.
  • Independently owned practice.

Remuneration & Benefits:

  • Dentist will inherit an established list of 2500, well maintained NHS patients.
  • Option to grow the list further by registering new patients (practice currently has a waiting list).
  • Continuing care payments of £4500-£5000 per month.
  • 50% remuneration split.
  • Excellent opportunity to offer Private alongside NHS.
  • Practice welcomes all Private/Postgraduate skill sets.
  • Dentist will be eligible to receive the new remote and rural allowance.
  • Position would suit a positive and team orientated individual who is committed to providing high-quality family dentistry.

Practice Overview:

  • Supportive practice suitable for newly qualified and more experienced Associates.
  • Clinical support from qualified Dental Nurses and an experienced administrative team.
  • Option to work alongside a Therapist and Hygienist to maximise clinical efficiency.
  • Left & Right-handed surgeries.
  • Fully computerised with SOE software.
  • Practice uses Digital Workflow where possible and has an onsite iTero Scanner plus OPT.
  • Intraoral Cameras in each surgery.
  • Access to Rotary Endo, Airflow GBT and Aquacare.
  • Practice has an excellent reputation in the local area with a very high Google Review rating.

Location & Travel:

  • Within a 30-minute drive from Keith, Aberchirder, Insch, Turriff, Dufftown, and Inverurie (around 50 mins- 1hr from Aberdeen).
  • 15-minute walk from Huntly Train Station.
  • Direct trains from Aberdeen, Dyce, Kintore, Inverurie, Insch, Keith, and Elgin.
  • Around 45 – 60 mins from Aberdeen Airport.
  • Huntly, Aberdeenshire is a rural market town with excellent transport links to Aberdeen, Inverurie and Elgin.

  • GDC Registered Dentist
  • NHS List Number.
  • Disclosure Certificate.
