Clinical Advisor & Associate Dentist – Merseyside / Cheshire 

MBR Dental are currently assisting a growing group of dental practices across Merseyside and Cheshire to recruit a Clinical Advisor & Associate Dentist to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced clinician to combine hands-on dentistry with a strategic leadership role, supporting clinical excellence, clinician development, recruitment, compliance, and quality assurance across a network of 7 dental practices, with further acquisitions planned.

 Position Details

  • Permanent opportunity
  • 4 days per week.
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • Monthly pay
  • 3-month notice period
  • Hybrid role combining:
    • 2 days per week as an Associate Dentist
    • 1-2 days per week as a Clinical Advisor
  • Self-employed position

 Associate Dentist Responsibilities

  • Provide a mixture of NHS and Private Dentistry
  • Dentist will based in Liverpool practice.
  • Deliver high-quality clinical care and patient experiences
  • Build long-term relationships with patients
  • Maintain accurate and compliant clinical records
  • Participate in ongoing professional development
  • UDA rate from £14.00

 Clinical Advisor Responsibilities

Clinical Governance & Compliance

  • Monitor compliance with regulatory and clinical standards
  • Conduct and review clinical audits including:
    • Patient Record Audits
    • Radiography Audits
    • Clinical Governance Reviews
  • Review DAF reports and implement corrective actions where required

 Recruitment & Retention

  • Support the recruitment of high-quality clinicians across the group
  • Help create a positive and engaging clinical culture
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and one-to-one meetings with Associate Dentists
  • Support clinician onboarding and retention initiatives

 Training & Development

  • Work alongside the Clinical Director to develop and implement training programmes
  • Mentor and support clinicians in their professional development
  • Promote best practice and continuous improvement across all practices

 Complaint Management

  • Support the investigation and resolution of patient complaints
  • Implement preventative measures and learning outcomes
  • Ensure complaints are managed professionally and effectively

 Quality Assurance

  • Work closely with the senior leadership team to drive clinical excellence
  • Review clinical processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Support consistency and best practice across multiple locations

 Practice Network

  • Established network of 7 dental practices
  • Currently progressing 3 acquisitions
  • Planned growth of a further 5 acquisitions next year
  • Opportunity to play a key role in the future development of the organisation

About You

  • Experienced GDC registered Dentist
  • Active NHS Performer Number
  • Strong understanding of clinical governance and compliance
  • Passionate about mentoring, leadership, and clinician development
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Valid DBS certificate
