Area Clinical Lead – Scotland 

MBR Dental are currently working with a dental group looking to recruit an Area Clinical Lead on a permanent basis.

Vacancy Details:

  • Available as soon as possible.
  • Notice periods are considered.
  • Dentist is required 2-3 days per week.
  • Permanent position with a 3+ month notice period.
  • Dentist will work 2 x days per week as an Area Clinical Lead on an employed basis plus 1 x day per week working in a General Practice of their choosing as a self-employed Associate.
  • Possible locations for the in-practice day include Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Glenrothes, St Andrews, and Queensferry.
  • Working hours are to be discussed.
  • Role requires significant travel across Scotland, including occasional overnight stays.

Remuneration & Earnings:

  • Dentist will receive a salary for their Area Clinical Lead role – to be discussed at interview.
  • % based remuneration for the in-practice aspect of the role.
  • 10% annual bonus (terms apply).

Responsibilities:

  • Position entails working with Managers, Directors and Clinical Leads to help support and develop practices across Scotland.
  • Dentists will also be working with clinicians to improve performance, growth, and enhance their overall experience working with the dental group.
  • Day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Being a trusted clinical leader across the area.
  • Supporting clinical and organisational initiatives
  • Proactively monitoring performance and quality.
  • Acting as the first point of clinical escalation, and escalating appropriately

Essential Criteria:

  • GDC Registered Dentist
  • 5+ years postgraduate experience.
  • Disclosure Certificate
  • Ability to travel across Scotland.
